Change...as told by Dr. Laura

Once upon a time there was a man who built a house for his family. So he dug a big hole and built his house on top of it. When he put his floors in he had to leave1-2 inches in between the floor boards in order to have enough room to go to the bathroom in between the floor boards (gross, I know). Even though the smell was disgusting they wouldn't build a new house or move until the poop became too high and started to overflow into their living space. They did this over and over through out their whole life.

The point of this story...how high does the poop need to get before we will change?

For those of us that struggle with weight...what will it take for us to change? When will the poop become too high?? A heart attack, diabetes??
For those of us who are mean to our spouse...what will it take? Him/her leaving?
For those of us who can't get our spending under control...what will it take filing bankruptcy?
You get the idea.

Basically, why do we have to wait for the poop to get high to move? Why can't we move just because the smell is horrible? Why do we have to go to the bathroom in between the floor boards? Why can't we build an outhouse?
